Meet our team

Our team comes from a range of disciplines including economics, policy, nursing, and public health, creating an interdisciplinary approach to REACH Lab research.

Diana Bowser, ScD., MPH is the Director and Principal Investigator of the REACH Lab as well as the Associate Dean for Research and Integrated Science at the Boston College Connell School of Nursing. Dr. Bowser has 20 years of experience in health system analysis related to health economics, health policy, and using econometric methods and costing techniques to evaluate health system changes in both U.S. and global contexts.

Dr. Bowser earned her Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) in health economics from the Harvard School of Public Health, her MPH from Yale School of Public Health and her BA from Harvard College.

Priya Agarwal-Harding, PhD is a Senior Research Associate with the REACH Lab specializing in subnational policy evaluation, econometric modeling, and health equity research. Her research spans both U.S. health systems and global health contexts. Her recent research focuses on maternal health policy, Medicaid and social protection systems, and immigrant integration, utilizing advanced quasi-experimental and econometric methods.

Priya holds a PhD in Social Policy from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, a MA in Human Rights and Public Policy from University College London (UK), and a BA from Wellesley College.

Kaili Mauricio, PhD is a Senior Research Associate with the REACH Lab at the Boston College Connell School of Nursing where he specializes in the quantitative analysis of health equity, patient outcomes, and the nursing workforce. Drawing on his background in economics and policy research, he uses statistical modeling to address complex challenges related to aging, financial stress, and the social determinants of health.

Kaili holds a PhD in Social Policy from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.

Brielle Ruscitti, MS MA is a Research Associate with the REACH Lab where she works on various health policy and economic evaluations using econometric methods and costing techniques, in both U.S. and global settings.

Brielle holds a MS in Global Health Policy and MA in International Development from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.

The REACH Lab works with several undergraduate and graduate researchers in both nursing and economics. Our students have presented their work at the Academy Health Annual Research Meeting, Boston College Annual Research Symposium and have published peer-reviewed manuscripts.
